Explosive packet with drugs

In the Kiev House of Trade Unions - one of the headquarters of the Euromaidan - the activist with an explosion of the bomb tore off the brush of one hand and several fingers on the other. This was reported by "Today.ua" with reference to another activist, Anatoly Vedmidi. The website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine says that the victim also received eyes damage.

The wounded was hospitalized in the 17th City Bollard. He is unconscious. The age and place of residence of the activist has not yet been established.

The incident occurred around 9:30 Thursday (11:30 in Moscow), when the victim opened a package brought to Euromaidan by unknown. In the package, as activists believed, there were medicines. According to Vedmidi, explosives were most likely liquid.

The activists did not contact the police, explaining that they did not trust her. Later, however, the doctor of the hospital, where the victim was delivered, informed law enforcement officers about the incident. The investigative-operational group of the Shevchenkovsky District Department of Internal Affairs went to the house of trade unions, but activists do not allow policemen to the building.

Vedmid assured that now all the packages brought to the Euromaidan will go through special checks. According to him, activists have the necessary equipment.

Meanwhile, as previously transmitted by RBC-Ukraine, the explosion occurred on the fifth floor of the House of Trade Unions, where the Right Sector is located. The fact that the incident happened on the fifth floor was also said in the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the same time, according to RBC-Ukraine, the cause of the explosion was the fire of the Molotov cocktail, and not one, but at least two activists: one handed the hand, and the other received facial injuries.
