A long list of "National Best" has been announced

Today, February 11, the Long List Long Literary Prize "National bestseller" of 2014 was published.

“There are no sensations in the current Long list, but they probably do not need them in such a year. - Comments the executive secretary of the award Vadim Levental. “There is everything that should be: Limonov’s new book and the new Roman Sharova, the first“ adult ”Roman Shargunov and the next Roman Sorokin.”

The long long list is given on the National Best website. In addition, the composition of the large jury of the award was published there.

The short list and the composition of the small jury will be announced on April 17, the winner-June 1.

The National Besseller Award for Best Prose in Russian has been awarded since 2001. Last season, sponsors refused National Best, but soon there were new ones - 2x2 TV channel and the Central Partnership film company.

The amount of the cash prize to the laureate from this year increases from 250 to 750 thousand rubles. Also this year, the award had two new nominations - National Best - the beginning for young writers (not older than 35 years), the sponsor of which is the 2x2 television channel, and the Central Partnership prize for a work that may become the best basis for the film scene.
