People on the Maidan are “morally and intellectual than all politicians ... Real policy is akin to creativity, for it creates a new reality, and the only problem is that this reality is not at all a book ... You will also recognize a real policy by one phrase.

No one except Yulia Tymoshenko could say these words: about the rebellious people who are much better than their leaders. She said. In an interview with the "Mirror of the Week", where it was exclusively about the situation in Ukraine. In a lengthy conversation that thundered throughout the country and far beyond its borders.

Julia Vladimirovna has not changed at all, and if, looking around the text, to stumble upon these words, it may seem that in the yard 2004 and Lady Yu leads the Maidan, swears Maidan, embodies Maidan. And the situation is largely similar. Somewhere behind the scenes, local elites and international intermediaries are sitting in the Mariinsky Palace, and the future president of Yushchenko signs the protocol of the second round of negotiations. He promises to unlock government buildings - in exchange for "replaying" the second round of the presidential election. The people in the square are confused and, not understanding what is happening, is waiting for an explanation. Yulia Tymoshenko is in a hurry to help the people.

“They forgot to invite the Maidan to sign the protocol,” she declares to reporters angrily. “If Viktor Andreevich tries to stop the Maidan, nothing will come of it. Maidan will not go anywhere.” And when asked whether her decision of the Supreme Court will suit her, if he recognizes Yanukovych’s victory, answers with the ultimate sharpness: “It doesn’t matter if it will suit politicians or not. It is important whether this will suit the people.”

A recognizable style, of course. This familiar mixture of cold calculation and recklessness, courage and jealousy, populism and pathos. More than nine years have passed, but Tymoshenko is still true to herself and from the prison camera addresses the smaster of the same words as then, at impromptu press conferences or from the rostrum of the Maidan. She flatters the people, she flirts with the people, she loves the people. And if tomorrow Lady Yu is free, millions will come to listen to her in the square. Even today, she is able to collect and lead such crowds that all the oppositions combined will not collect, not to mention the representatives of the authorities. Especially today, after two and a half years of arrest and conclusion.

It can be treated as you like: love, hate, respect, despise, call a “thieves” or see the Savior of Ukraine in it. Undoubtedly another. By the scale of the personality, political experience, the mind, she surpasses all her enemies and friends on her head, starting with the president and ending with the most tall of the opposition. Yanukovych knew what he was doing when he hid her in jail as a “foreign agent”, which concluded a “treacherous” agreement on gas supplies with Russia. Actually, that's why she still sits that in a country where Yulia Tymoshenko freely engaged in politics, the current president has no place.

That is why among her main concerns is the fate of Viktor Fedorovich after his inevitable resignation. For there is no need to talk to him and agree, in her opinion. Having concluded an agreement with Russia, the President of Ukraine has ceased to be an independent politician, and "when the opposition and leaders of the Western world are negotiating with Yanukovych, they must understand that they are actually negotiating with Vladimir Putin through a not very qualified intermediary." But there is a much more qualified intermediary, not even an intermediary, but a real politician, and a politicalese knows his name, from infancy. In general, the “only topic for negotiations” with Yanukovych is “these are the conditions for his departure from the authorities and guarantees of the protection of his family. I am ready to be a participant in these negotiations,” Julia Vladimirovna thinks aloud, and it sounds politically very much: she is ready to pardon him. And again recognizable.

Only two perform with such mocking calls today in Ukraine: she and the Maidan. The "constructive opposition" in the person of Klitschko, Tyagnibok and Yatsenyuk as a whole is preparing for the 2015 elections, and this is one of the reasons why they are so unpopular in the squares. In addition, formal leaders of disagreement enthusiastically polemize with the president on constitutional issues. They insist on returning to the old basic law of 2004, limiting the power of Yanukovych, and Viktor Fedorovich seems to be also inclined to self -restraint.

Tymoshenko is categorically against.

She says that with this president and this parliament, which "is more like a thieves' stash than the political center of European reforms," ​​there is no need to discuss the constitution. But deep down, it seems, thinks about something completely different. About how to win in the upcoming elections - and why then constitutional restrictions on her, President of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko? This may seem like pure madness, but it firmly, recklessly, unconditionally believes in her star, everybody watching her through the lattices on the windows of the Kharkov hospital. She counts a lot of moves ahead - and back, too, recalling how in endless showdowns with Yushchenko and Rada she lost posts, supporters, and then freedom. She dreams of sole leadership, and the fact that a couple of years ago seemed absolutely unthinkable, now acquires some real features.

But the people should choose it, of course, and the prisoner No. 1 addresses it over the heads of journalists, associates, enemies and infinitely despised Yanukovych. People on the Maidan, she reports, “morally and intellectual than all politicians ...” and adds: “They will no longer accept even minimal insincerity from any politicians. The opposition will not be able to satisfy these people, the best citizens of Ukraine, empty positions and endless constitutional processes. Artificial, theatrical decisions of the Maidan will no longer arrange for real result and real changes.” She herself is sincerely infinite, as soon as a person who has long sensed his life as a mission, and a politician who is eager for will, can be sincere.
