Vitishko was not released from the special receiver after administrative arrest

Evgeny Vitishko, a member of the Ecological Watch Council in the North Caucasus, was not released from the Tuapse special receiver after 15-day administrative arrest. This was reported on the website of Ekovakhta. The location of the activist is unknown.

Vitishko was to be released at 13:20. A large group of colleagues of the activist in Ekovakhta, accompanied by Norwegian television journalists, came to the Tuapsinsky police department, in the building of which is located. However, at about 13:00, the deputy chief of the public order of the Tuapsinsky OP Vasily Vinnichenko came to the audience. He stated that on Tuesday morning Vitishko was sent to Krasnodar.

Meanwhile, the special-reception attendant in a telephone conversation with one of the activists noticed that the eco-defender is still in the institution.

When Vitishko did not go free at the time, the police officer on duty announced to the audience that the activist was taken to the Krasnodar pre -trial detention center by court decision. " In the special receiver, however, they answered the phone call that he was released at 13:24. At the same time, the wife of the eco -defender Larisa called the police department and said that Vitishko was "released and detained again."

Activists suspect that the Vitishko intends to transfer under the escort to the colony-settlement for serving a three-year period for "damage" of the fence at the cottage of the Kuban governor Alexander Tkachev. Meanwhile, according to the law, the convicted person to the colony-settlement gets independently and without a convoy.

The decision to replace the ecologist by the conditional term was made by the real judge of the Tuapse City Court Igor Milinchuk on December 20, 2013. On February 12, 2014, the judge of the Krasnodar Kraisud Andrei Konnov rejected Vitishko's appeal to this decision. In protest, the activist announced a hunger strike .
