In these bloody days, the defenders of the Maidan show amazing heroism, in the most terrible situations come to the aid of each other. The stories of eyewitnesses and participants in the tragic events on the streets of Kyiv appear on social networks. They help to understand what a real civil society is.

This is a grenade "Berkut". I got into my back when the offensive began. I went almost the last - I withdrew 75 years old from the institute’s grandmother.
On the back there was a high -quality tarpaulin backpack with all protection and gaskets under the back. The right strap and a charred bottom remained from him.
If he was not there, then it would not be me.

Then, closing with herself and supporting this grandmother, who was tall on my nose, she just stood near the wall, then under the Christmas tree on the sidewalk, and the golden eagle ran past and ... how they beat everyone they could get! Men, women, red cross, press. Several times they raised the clubs and yelled at us in the face of "killing, bitch", and I just calmly looked into their eyes, and for some reason they lowered the batons ...
Then one of the "Golden Eagle" with human eyes under the protection of his shield took me and my grandmother to the nearest gateway. There were already 30 people there: about 13 women, 6-7 men - grandfather, a boy of about 17, a journalist and four middle -aged men. Grandfather lay on the ground, and two golden eagles finished it with clubs. Two more men were all flooded with blood from wounds on their heads. Women have a wounding of various severity: a girl from a red cross was repulsed by her leg (thigh), the girl’s “press” is broken and knee -knee was knocked out. Etc. Well, I'm a beauty. True, I still did not know that I had from behind.
After a couple of minutes, Golden Eagle flew to "hunt" further. We have left: one broken skull and three concussions. A sea of blood, I do not exaggerate. Plus, legs injuries, broken fingers (closed their heads). Fortunately, the second girl from the Red Cross preserved a suitcase with medicines. They bandaged the bleeding, a couple of injections - and hid in the entrance. Only 16 people.
I called friends, told where we are. She said that they urgently needed help, the guys "Press" called their own. The info was thrown at VK, and a red cross from the Maidan came to us. And Sergey, by some miracle, was able to get with the car directly on the silk. Minute per minute.
They pulled everyone out. Seryoga "spent" an ambulance with heavy injured yards-ogorods to the Maidan to the house of the professional, and I was already home.
... By the way, my Sashka personally took the two “caught” by the Berkutovites in the morning, and the third was simply released for the barricade. Nobody beat them !!!
... After the events of January 22, when I had an emotional shock, and then, when I doubted the power of love and in response I was made to feel for a moment what "love of Christ" is, a whole life passed for me. She died and was born. In love. Today, looking at everything, I did not experience fear, aggression, hatred, despair, condemnation for a second.

Alive ... I still believe in it with difficulty ... I got off relatively easily: the left knee and the right ear are broken.
A few "thoughts aloud":
So: there is no place at such moments at the front line neither women nor the old people!
The worst enemy of the "crowd" is a panic. It is terrible when thousands of people turn into an uncontrollable running crowd. And even worse, when the explosion and golden eagle rushes behind, and ahead is a barricade with a passage of 1.5 meters!
I saw with my own eyes how four cops (although, in my opinion, one of them was in jeans and with a gas mask) first shot from the roof of the house at the institute, and then stones and Mr. Molotov threw from the roof.
Vodomet: the pressure of his jet is not as terrible as that smelly pink fluid with which he waters. Masks and respirators save.
Grenades: I did not see himself to fly nuts-bolts. They no longer scare either with a roar or flashes. But ... gas and smoke!
At about 12:00, I realized that without means of protection you can easily fall under the distribution (the stones threw stones from behind the spin of cops). I went bought a "petal" and mounting glasses.
The petal works quite tolerably! The main thing is to tightly "stick" it to physiognomy.
The main advice - protect your head !!! Three (!!!) times stones thrown by cops flew into my head. Only the fact that I tightly covered her with my hands, saved me from more serious injuries, limiting myself to a broken right ear.
Once again I convincingly advise everyone: before going there, understand - the disco is over !!!
Well, the most important thing: even if they disperse our Maidan today, do they really think that this will end there?! No! Of course - no!
The people do not kneel !!!!!!

What I saw over the past seven hours (in Lviv on the night of February 19. - Ed.). I report.
I saw how ten thousand people burned the military unit, which was blocked for a month, went inside, disarmed 300 vvshniks and took their amidan ammunition. There was no need to go blown somewhere to go out.
I saw a fire in two floors about the regional prosecutor’s office and avenue Shevchenko, dotted with sheets of criminal cases thrown out of the windows.
I saw how documents surrounded by the barricades in the Lviv region are burning, and in the corridor among the rebels, the main regional cop Rudyak (I respect) calmly stands.
I saw an inverted and broken police vehicles at the Grozny district of Martovich, completely, completely defeated. The guys reached out for all the insults.
I saw captured by people of the SBU. I saw how the car of wiretaps was on, which was not without regret on me that it costs half a million dollars. And I saw a lot inside the SBU.
I saw from the balcony the last floor of the Frankov regional department of people below, who shouted "Glory to Ukraine!" And burned the documents. Honestly, I don't really like that everyone burned. Although this is an opportunity to begin history - at least this region - from scratch.
I saw the tax, which the leadership passed without a fight, asking not to destroy anything, but the activists saw that they were boring there, and left.
I saw from the inside a part on Stryskaya, already burned out, and vvshnikov, calmly walk next to the activists, shoot them cigarettes and talk about how it will be further.
I saw the unperturbed uncle on the checkpoint on Truskavetskaya and Princess Olga, where everyone is sleeping, despite the fact that the neighboring military unit is on fire.
I can’t imagine what the morning will bring and how we will continue to live, but I know for sure that the authorities of the Yanukovych regime in Lviv are no more, and this pleases me.

The guy broke in his eyes, twisted the insides, torn the limb ... These are not noise guns, but real fighting! People captured the Berkutian who abandoned, but we, unlike these freaks, are not killing, this is the difference ...
God help!
... In the three Berkutovites, whom he captured the square, their cops began to throw grenades! We were in shock! Do not give the living people?! You are blessed dogs!
One from the explosion of the grenade tore off the hand from the shoulder, the second broke the spine, the third was wounded by debris. I'm not sure that the Berkutovets will survive with a torn hand. We provided first aid and attributed to the ambulance. People would like to "solve" them on the spot, but the hand does not rise on the disarmed in pissed trousers. Although they are nonhumans, we are people ... We have a heart, and therefore it is difficult for us. We could kill them for a long time, but we are not maniacs, we are not cruel ... We still look into the eyes of children! Maybe we will not live everything, but we will not be ashamed of us, the Lord is with us!

During the night, I think, about ten attacks. No, more, perhaps. And they hit - constantly. There was no 15 minutes to not tear. I saw one murdered for sure. Wounded - dozens.
All attacks are repulsed. The limit was repulsed at some very last limit, when it seemed that the region, people ran-and the people really ran-but there was some thread, some ten to twenty-thirty people who did not escape, began to fight with the Berkut, and the escaped, trembling, returned, and "retreated" and retreated.
How these people are able to endure all this, I do not understand. I have not been able to endure more than fifteen to twenty close ruptures of light-school grenades at a time. I need to move away, wait until nausea, headache passes and normal hearing will return. And these are standing. The police had already hung out the distance and began to beat directly on the shields that they hold, that is, right through people - and they do not leave. That beats me. Now, from eight in the morning, calm. I don’t know how long, but still quiet. Maidan - stands. Hardly, but - it is worth it.

After lunch, I took Binta from the office and peroxide to the Maidan. At the barricade on Grushevsky, they asked to buy batteries for the walkie -talkie. I went to the Globe, returned. And then after a few minutes it began ... We ran to the top of the three -reciprocatorski in a few seconds. And then another sur ... from the mountains of Mariinsky, the Berkutney, was doing everything in his path.
I never thought how to wear wounded in the mountains. Today I saw it. In order to take out seriously wrapped with arterial bleeding from the head on a stretcher with a dropper along the slope of the Vladimir hill from the back windows of the Ukrainian house, 6-8 people need. If he had been left below, then Berkutny finished in place. A wheelchair user was dragged along the slope on the back ... And this is the European Square - the center of Kyiv.
Thanks to the Church on the three -person, he opened his doors. And we placed all the wounded there. And it’s good that a bottle of peroxide was lying in a backpack: it turned out to be a salvation before the arrival of the doctors and the arrival of an ambulance ..
And today, I, a native Kiev, who lived all my life in the center, first heard the ringing of bells ... and I could not hold back tears ...
And I return to the Maidan ...

The European Square has a middle -aged man, dressed in an expensive coat, a suit, not cheap shoes ... Actively talking on the phone ... In three minutes, the Lexus jeep rises ... From there the driver runs out, the trunk opens for a long time, takes out a couple of tires ... The first climbs into the car, it is already in a fufike, helmet and with a bat, quickly runs towards the Maidan, it runs out, quickly. In the way, saying: “The god of the president of the idiot gave it! He strangled him that dough!” ... curtain ...

Now I will drink my last one for the next couple of days of Latte (we understand that if Kyiv is closed, interruptions with milk and other products will begin tomorrow), I’ll call a friend who was against the Maidan, and I will take off the warm male sweaters from it, and I can’t eat in this situation that we all received two higher education, taught two or three foreign languages to analyze it, to learn how to analyze Powl, know the number of friends of friends and build barricades. BUT! I am convinced that I do everything right.

A checkpoints are installed in the city center, which do not miss cars on the approaches to the Maidan. But people park nearby, unloaded and go with packages, carry everything they need. I want to get to the Mikhailov Cathedral, where the hospital is deployed. We bought all sorts of clamps, robes, needle holders ... A big problem is now with surgical threads. In Kyiv, they simply are not in any pharmacy, they asked to be transferred from the regions. I'm going with my brother - only this is a big secret from parents. There are two more guys with us, with whom they wrote off on Facebook.
My husband was on the Maidan at night, and then traveled around the hospitals - medicines, wounded ...
Since they do not open the metro today all day, they will probably take measures to cut off the Maidan from the city as much as possible.
There is nowhere to retreat and do not want to. A retreat - this is necessary for people to disperse, but they will not disperse. Because everyone will be transferred, or transferred to the main square of the country, or transferred one by one. The neighbors will begin to knock, something else. This is not very common in Kyiv, but in the central cities of Ukraine it is completely nearby. In Zaporozhye, when the Maidan was dispersed, a week or two ago, there the taxi drivers handed over people from whom smelled of smoke. Kyiv is very heterogeneous, it would be homogeneous, everyone would go to the square at night. Last night I drove people to the square and saw an unrealistic flow of cars from the center, everyone fell home - quickly in a warm mink. And even fewer people who are ready to stand on the front line.
I am sure that all people have long made their choice, and no matter how many dead, these are statistics and people will not change their attitude.
