
The governor of the Astrakhan region Alexander Zhilkin promised to provide the political asylum with the special forces "Berkut" leaving Ukraine. He wrote about this on his Twitter in response to the question of the pro -government political strategist Alexander Tukaev.
On Sunday, Tukaev, turning to Zhilkin and his deputy Konstantin Markelov, wrote: "Berkut fighters" in social networks ask for political asylum in Russia and Belarus.
“Invite them officially, take them and place them,” the governor answered. “Contact me, I information.”
On Saturday, the Berkut VK community published a request to the inhabitants of Russia and Belarus to help fugitive security forces with housing. “If there are in the villages of Russia, Belarus is empty houses or a place where you can hide, write to the administrator,” the Berkutians asked. "There are many women with children, the situation is critical, it is necessary to take out children and women!" - they wrote.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the acting President of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov instructed the border service to prevent the departure from the country of persons involved in the massacres of demonstrators. All guilty should be held accountable, the head of state noted.
