Deterscents at Manezhnaya Square are underway

Near Manezhnaya Square in the center of Moscow, riot police delay people who protest against the sentence to the defendants of the “swamp business”, seven of whom, February 24, received real terms today.

In the afternoon in the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow, a sentence was announced to the participants in the demonstration on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012. Seven people are sentenced to deprivation of liberty for terms of 2.5 to 4 years, the eighth - Alexander Dukhanin - received a suspended sentence. At the court, the police detained more than 200 people.
