The liner, who made a cruise along the Caribbean, was forced to interrupt the trip and return to the port of Beyonn (New Jersey).
Norovirus is considered one of the most contagious in the world. For the speed of distribution, scientists called him “Ferrari” among viruses. Infection rarely leads to death. However, the disease is very difficult - it is accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea and influenza symptoms.
The incubation period of the norovirus is 24-48 hours. There is no method for treating a novirus infection yet. It is believed that the disease itself passes on the third day. Doctors recommend just lying and drink as much fluid as possible when infected.
