The project, which has the working title “Just a Man,” is conceived as a medical drama. Curtis will play the mother of four twins (three boys and a girl). A reality show was dedicated to the growing up of her children. However, the film will take place later. According to the plot, Caroline is a talented doctor, she managed to head the hospital. Jonathan, one of her sons, gets a job with her.

At the same time, Caroline's husband died due to a rare disease. Curtis's character knows that each of her children has a 50 percent chance of dying from the same disease.

The CBS series will be an English-language version of the Israeli television drama The Ran Quartet (according to Yariv Horowitz, the director who worked on the original version, it was one of the most sexually explicit projects on Israeli television). The company is currently only interested in filming the pilot, with a decision on working on a full season to be made at a later date.

Jamie Lee Curtis recently starred in the feature film Veronica Mars, which became a continuation of the television series of the same name.
