Mikhail Dobkin, Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, resigned and transferred his powers to his first deputy, Valentin Dulub. This was reported on the website of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
“In connection with the need to go through the registration procedure for a candidate for the post of President of Ukraine and the organization of the election campaign in the cities of Ukraine <…> the chairman of the HOCA, Mikhail Dobkin, wrote a letter of dismissal,” the official statement says.
Today, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine announced the resumption of criminal proceedings against Dobkin in connection with his statements about the federalization of the state.
