
Three former presidents of Ukraine - Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma and Viktor Yushchenko - made a joint statement in which they accused the Russian Federation of in direct intervention of the political life of the Republic of Crimea. This was reported by Interfax with reference to Press Attash Yushchenko Irina Vannikova.
The message indicates that Russia, which previously repeatedly called the activities of the "international partners" of Ukraine, aimed at the peaceful settlement of the crisis, "interference" in the internal affairs of the country, now de facto has begun to direct intervention in the political life of Crimea.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of Wednesday on February 26 in Simferopol, the protesters established the Russian flag over the building of the Supreme Council of the Republic. Protesters blocked the entrance to the parliament and demanded to hold a referendum on the status of the region.
