Arctic Monkeys received five NME prizes

In London, the awarding ceremony of winners of the 2014 New Musical Express magazine was held. The Arctic Monkeys rock group received five awards, including the prize of the best British group and prizes for the best album and the best concert performances.

Having briefly thanked for the awards, the leader of Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner added that he had already said the rest at the Brit Awards - a week ago, his group also collected all the main prizes.

Lily Allen, the best foreign group, was recognized as the best foreign group-the Los Angeles Trio Haim, the best new group-the Drivery post-grange Drenger Drenger , the best song- “White Noise” of Disclosure electrician, the best clip- “Nerve endings” of Eagulls-troops Eagulls .

Paul McCartney ( Songwriter's Songwriter ), Damon Albarn (“For Innovation”) and the Blondie group (“God -like geniuses”) won in honorary categories.
