Demonstrators in Crimea were announced a referendum

On February 27, deputies of the Crimean parliament voted for the resignation of the government of the Autonomous Republic, headed by Anatoly Mogilev. Parliamentarians also advocated a referendum in the region on May 25, 2014

The decision to hold a referendum was announced on the square opposite the Verkhovna Rada of Simferopol.

The referendum will be issued a question about "improving the status of autonomy and expanding its powers." The deputies decided to appoint him on the same day on which extraordinary presidential elections will be held in Ukraine.

He also noted that in Ukraine there is an opinion that the decision was made under pressure from protesters.

The building of the parliament was captured in the morning of February 27 by a group of armed people who hoisted the Russian flag over it. Later, the invaders passed the Rada of the deputies who held an extraordinary session into the building of the Rada.

Hundreds of protesters entered the square, the correspondent of The New Times reports. Many of them hold Russian flags and rejoice at what will be a referendum.
