Urlashov was detained by the police on July 2. Two criminal cases of attempting to receive a bribe were instituted against him. The investigation insists that the mayor of Yaroslavl and his subordinates from December 2012 to July 2, 2013 extorted a bribe of 45 million rubles from the entrepreneur from the amount transferred to the company at the expense of the work performed. In addition, according to investigators, in May 2013, Urlashov demanded a bribe from the entrepreneur for refusing the claims in the arbitration process in the city hall’s claim.
