On Friday evening, I fervored with fervor to my friend that Russian aggression against Ukraine is an unthinkable case. Reinforcing the speech with a completely understandable set of arguments. That Crimea and East of Ukraine are not South Ossetia. That we, of course, can consider our president a madman as much as you like, but he is actually a person, in communication with the world around the world, the extremely pragmatic, perfectly understanding the limits of the permissible, appreciating, in the end, his personal position among other great ones is enough not to risk them at least from vulture. Well and so on. Small provocations are retired novists in the role of Kharkov patriots with tricolors (I saw this fag on the roof of the rain, as they say), the forces of the defense of Sevastopol, to the extent of indistinguishability similar to Russian special forces, all this is tolerant, moderate evil - well, inevitability, the new sweet style of Russian foreign policy, but the war? Ah, leave.
On Saturday, it seemed at the afternoon that at exactly four o’clock, as the song was sung, Kyiv would be bombed, and from an unprecedented shame, our country with us, regardless of how we react to this war, have not been going to go anywhere. And what's the difference - just watch each other in the gums, how, having forgotten about hygiene, the former irreconcilable enemies exchange the saliva of patriotic delight, or to go out, according to the covenant of the bard, to the square ... What is there, on these squares? We have so stuced in the last two years that some are now breaking three times a week, and the wise mayor of Moscow is forced to close them for technical reasons. Take at least the arena.
What answer is not that adequate, but simply possible when an unimaginable nightmare becomes a reality? What can I say or do?
On Sunday, after the evening, having previously spent the streets of the parades of bonded people, whose, however, the mood personally seemed quite sincere to me, and telling them how the fascist young men in Ukraine forbid the Russian language (!), Our official hawks suddenly turned out to be pigeons and vied with the vying that there was no talk of any attempts or the sovereignty of Ukraine, but about the war and about the war and about the war and about the war and about the war and about the war and about the war and about the war and about the war You should not stutter.
Political prisoners? Who is this? Terrorist laws? What is it about? The district committee is closed, everyone went to the front. The first Ukrainian.
And this, of course, does not mean anything at all. Maybe tomorrow morning Russian tanks will enter Kharkov. Or Putin will give the Yanukovych to the Kyiv authorities. The political instructor always lies, even if it does not lie. What is happening is still a nightmare, but you get used to everything, and in the era of overproduction of information-you get used to quickly. Curiosity at least appears.
But in addition to this, winter, shameful Russian-Ukrainian war of 2014, which, so far, thank God, has not begun (and there is hope that it will not begin), there is one more in Russia. I remembered (yes, I remembered it, it is important) about her on Sunday afternoon, when we - not without the awakened curiosity - looked at the procession of supporters of the war in Moscow. The same people with the same posters walked by (“we don’t throw our own”), and then suddenly the question sounded:
- Listen, where did the rumors come from the boycott of the Olympics? There was no war yet.
Well, how was it when it was? There was a war with common sense, with hope at least someday to live here humanly, with the rights of citizens, with culture. The state led it - somewhat chaotic, but in general successfully - at least the last two years. However, despite state successes, there was a confrontation field. In order not to say - discussions. And the state won this second war with lightning speed, simply beckoning the Russian society by the prospect of the war for real - with the blood and tankers. A sort of inner intellectual blitzkrieg came out. Political prisoners? Who is this? Terrorist laws? What is it about? The district committee is closed, everyone went to the front. The first Ukrainian.
Everything that was justified, for led - naturally led to Russian, as is now customary in certain circles, in spring. The prison, say, was built here? So after all, this is then to form a penal battalion and clean the neighbors to clean the face.
One holy fool on Facebook wrote so directly: so why they were needed, all these spring -Mizulins! Glory to the deputies, Glory to the heroes!
Special people will check the temperature of urine from everyone who listens to the speech of the authorities. Suddenly, not boiling - then tremble, incorrect.
They write that society is completely split (although they write about it without any reason from the winter of 2011). But in fact, society is consolidated. Opponents of the war (that is, excuse me, the coming grandiose geopolitical success of Russia) is in an insignificant minority. The discussions are over. What can the jubilant patriots have discussions with national traitors? Now insults instead of arguments.
But most importantly, I repeat that the state won the war with common sense. The terrible is the unanimous of people who are most important than the chance to pull off a piece of foreign land - it will not go anywhere, even if the situation in Ukraine will develop more or less normally. Putin, without even implementing Anschlus, will remain a great great for many of his critics yesterday, because there is nothing worse for a person than to recognize his own stupidity. Where to go to all the heroes of the Internet transfers that dreamed of the defeat of the Bandera hordes and the triumph of Russian weapons, if you have to postpone with a triumph?
Well, if it realizes ...
And this patriotic hype simply cannot but convert into a new portion of meaningless prohibitions that turn the country into a place, completely unsuitable for life. And these prohibitions will meet the understanding of citizens-nevertheless, they remember the black and white of black and white films the formula: "According to the laws of wartime."
I won’t be surprised if, soon, for example, special people will check the temperature of urine from everyone who listens to the speeches of the authorities. Suddenly, not boiling - then tremble, incorrect.
