In Kyiv, they talk about the large -scale information war of the Russian media against Ukraine and are preparing to repel Russian aggression in Crimea
The leaders of the Ukrainian media groups, such as Inter and 1+1, turned to the General Directors of the Russian television and radio companies Channel One Konstantin Ernst, VGTRK Oleg Dobrodeev and NTV Vladimir Kulistikova.
“We do not have the right to make enmity between fraternal peoples, to broadcast information unverified or distorting reality. We are sure that if the existing confrontation develops into military operations, there will be no winners, everything will lose,” the heads of Ukrainian media groups emphasize.
“We have not only all the signs of aggression, but also the signs of a multi-way, complex political operation that is carried out by the Russian Federation in the Black Sea direction. Russia really needs a security belt at the junction with NATO countries in the Black Sea zone. In Abkhazia and Georgia, they made a zone of base, are now fixed in the Crimea, and the next will be a Transnistria. The troops are not in the Crimea, but to Ukraine.
In Ukraine, they continue to prepare to repel Russian aggression. Now there are assumptions that Russia can expand the Crimean operation for a significant part of the Ukrainian territory. This was said, speaking on the air of the first national television channel, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yevgeny Marchuk:
“We have not only all the signs of aggression, but also the signs of a multi-way, complex political operation that is carried out by the Russian Federation in the Black Sea direction. Russia really needs a security belt at the junction with NATO countries in the Black Sea zone. In Abkhazia and Georgia, they made a zone of base, are now fixed in the Crimea, and the next will be a Transnistria. The troops are not in the Crimea, but to Ukraine, it means that the military is allowed to carry out this operation from Chernigov to Yalta, from Uzhgorod to Lugansk, ”said Marchuk.
From Sunday, partial mobilization began in Ukraine. The military enlistment offices work in intensified mode - they write volunteers. There are already tens of thousands of them. Universal mobilization can be announced in the case of the introduction of martial law in the country. The Verkhovna Rada decided that so far there would not be such a situation. “And although in recent years the former Ukrainian authorities actually destroyed the national armed forces, nevertheless potentially the Ukrainian army is one of the largest reserve armies in Europe,” said Igor Smeshko, ex-chairman of the Ukrainian Security Service.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk literally every half an hour in the Crimea “provocations occur”. Their goal, believes the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, legalize the stay of the Russian military on the peninsula.
It is known that at night armed people without identification marks tried to penetrate the territory of the Kerch detachment of marine guards. In addition, the Russian military captured almost all the buildings of the Ukrainian military unit located on the territory of the Belbek military airfield near Sevastopol.
On the morning of March 3, Russian paratroopers surrounded one of the military units in Bakhchisarai, demanding to give them all the weapons. The Ukrainian military of this unit is prepared to repel a possible attack. Over the past two days, Ukrainian sailors managed to withdraw all the ships of the Navy from Sevastopol, and now they are based in Odessa and Mariupol.
According to Ukrainian journalist Vladimir Protula, the situation in many Crimean settlements remains tense:
- In Feodosia, local Cossacks receive weapons from pro -Russian sources, owners of weapons stores. Blocked by the city executive committee of Feodosia. The Russian flag was posted. A tense situation remains near the Marine Corps battalion, many Russian troops, armored vehicles, armed representatives of the Cossacks. The same intense situation in Perevalny, where coastal defense brigades with Ukraine are located. Now, according to our data, there were 10 more KamAZ trucks loaded with military personnel of the Russian Federation. Prior to this, there were 15 cars with fighters, as we were told, the landing and scrap brigade of military landing troops. They were identified by experts. They are transferred from the Southern Military District. They block the Ukrainian military around the perimeter. There is also a special Russian armored vehicle, armored cars. Negotiations are underway that the Ukrainian military put up weapons. As of this morning, they refuse and are ready to defend themselves. Yesterday all day there was a priest and parishioners of a local garrison. They prayed, sang church songs and asked the Russian military to remember that among them there are as many Orthodox as among Ukrainians and not to use weapons. The situation is considered enough. The same nervous and tense situation in Simferopol is the same.
According to Vladimir Pritula, residents of Crimea react differently to the presence of the Russian military:
- Some people are welcoming the input of Russian troops, they are violently rejoiced. And some people are very depressed. They do not want to talk, leave the conversations. Some people are actively protested. Yesterday a rally was held against the Russian occupation near the Shevchenko monument. Not very many, somewhere about 50 people. Representatives of different nationalities came, on the call of the All -Ukrainian Rada, a new organization that was created yesterday to protect the Ukrainian ethnic minority. A large action of Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian women against Russian aggression is planned in Simferopol, ”said Vladimir Protula.
