Kusturitsa: Russia should protect the Russians who live in Ukraine

Serbian film director Emir Kusturika said that Russia should protect the Russians living in Ukraine and save Ukraine from disaster.

“Unfortunately, Ukraine is now following the same path as Yugoslavia once. And I'm very sorry that this is so. Now the same disaster is taking place. I believe that Russia should protect the Russians who live in Ukraine, ”Kusturika said in an interview with ITAR-TASS .

According to the director, who is in Samara on tour with The No Smoking Orchestra , who plans to go on a tour in Ukraine in support of the Russian -speaking population and “our other brothers” in the near future.

Kusturica also said that one of the songs at his concert will be dedicated to the Russians living in Ukraine.
