The Supreme Council of Crimea made a fundamental decision to join Russia. The Crimean referendum will be brought up about joining the Russian Federation. Voting will be held on March 16.

The West asks Moscow to stop provocations in the Crimea. The OSCE sends there 40 military personnel without weapons to observe the "quiet occupation." The European Union froze the assets of Viktor Yanukovych and his accomplices, allocates 11 billion to Ukraine and prepares sanctions against Russia. In Kiev, new purposes, in Moscow , new prisoners of conscience are participants in anti -war protests.
