Russia actually occupied Crimea. Russian checkpoints and minefields now separate the peninsula from the rest of Ukraine. OSCE observers are not allowed into the Crimea. The Pentagon carefully speaks of the possible intervention of NATO. The other day, Ukraine will sign the political part of the Association Agreement with the EU.

Moscow makes increasingly inflated statements about the upcoming Western sanctions and threatens to suspend the reception of inspectors under the SNV agreement. In Russian cities, well -organizedrallies for ANSHLUS and a few anti -war actions are held in Russian cities.
