
In Moscow, a rally in support of Crimea was held on the Vasilievsky descent. According to the capital, the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 65 thousand people took part in it. The "faces" correspondent considers this figure very high.
The audience held the flags of Russia, the United Russia parties, the All -Russian Popular Front and other organizations, including Russian officers, St. George. On the posters it was written: "We believe Putin", "Crimea - Russian land", "We do not surrender our own." Oleg Gazmanov, Alexander Marshal, Valeria, Nikolai Rastorguev, Vika Tsyganova and other artists, spoke to the audience with patriotic liver.
The police blocked Krasnaya Square from the Okhotny Ryad metro station, the police suggested going through the GUM to get to the event.
The rally adopted a resolution that contains an appeal to the president, deputies of the State Duma, the Federation Council, Russian citizens and residents of Crimea.
"We, the rally participants, support the historical choice of Crimea and Sevastopol citizens. Their determination is free, legitimate and democratically defending our right to choose the future of Crimea and Sevastopol. Their desire to restore justice and reunite with Russia. We, participants in the rally, on the face of Russian people, seek the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, demanding to support the decision of the Crimean Parliament on reality With Russia, ”the resolution read from the scene on the Vasilievsky descent says.
"We urge the State Duma and the Federation Council to be urgently held in order to begin the procedure for adopting the Republic of Crimea in the Russian Federation, to fix the choice of people about joining Russia. Citizens and Russia are waiting for this," the document says.
A similar rally took place in the mound. The day before, the same rallies took place in Bryansk, Yekaterinburg, Noyabrsk, Pyatigorsk, Saratov and other Russian cities.
