On March 8, at 13 o’clock on Independence Square in Kiev "Women's Hundred" of the Maidan holds the action under the slogan "Freedom, equality, female solidarity!".
"We, the activists of the Maidan, invite all caring women to express support to the women of Crimea. We are going to the main square of Ukraine, under the Independence Monument (Stella), to write postcards about the support of Crimea women.
We support all the women of Crimea, no matter who they are and no matter what life choice they make:
those who speak Russian, Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar or other languages;
mothers, sisters, wives, daughters;
Muslims, Christians, atheist;
housewives, journalists, civil servants, entrepreneurs, human rights activists, activists, director and employees of recreation complexes, poetess, writers, artists.
Regardless of language, nationality, religion, age, today we are united by the general anxiety and the desire of the world. Together we are strong to resist military aggression.
Women in Kyiv are in solidarity with women in Simferopol, Feodosia, Sevastopol, Kerch, Bakhchisarai, Yalta and in all corners of Crimea. "
