Fired by the editor -in -chief "Lenta.ru"

The editor -in -chief of Lenta.ru Galina Timchenko will leave his position. Alexei Gororevsky was appointed new editor -in -chief.

Such a decision, as Timchenko was told by the editorial office of Lenta.ru , was adopted by the owner of the joint company Afisha -rambler-Sup, Alexander Mamut. Changes come into force today, March 12.

Earlier today it became known that Roskomnadzor issued a warning to Lente.ru for publishing an interview with one of the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalist movement "Right Sector" Andrei Tarasenko.

Galina Timchenko, who worked in Lenta.ru since founding in 1999, has led the publication since 2004.

Alexei Gorreslavsky has been working in the United Company Afisha-Rabler-Sup since 2013. He holds the position of deputy general director of the company for external communications. Prior to coming to the United Company, Gorozlavsky headed the online publication "View.ru".
