© Sony ClassicalOn March 22, the cultural center “House on the Patriarchals” will host a presentation dedicated to the release of the first disk (“Figaro's Wedding”) of the Oper Mozart operating cycle, which are recorded in Perm Chorus and Musicaeterna, under the control of the conductor of Theodore Kurentsis.
The presentation, which will be held as part of the Golden Mask theater festival, will take part in the artistic director of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater named after P.I. Tchaikovsky Theodore Krentzis and the head of Sony Music Russia Arina Dmitrieva.
The guests of the presentation in the “House on the Patriarchals” will see a film shot in Perm with the French music channel MEZZO in the winter of 2013, Theodore Krentzis will tell about his special approach to Mozart’s music, and also comment on the musical excerpts of the recording. After the audience will be able to ask questions.
The project is implemented as part of an exclusive long -term contract signed by Sony Classical with Theodor Kurentsis and the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. According to the contract, the records of all three operas of the cycle must be made with the Musicaeterna orchestra of the Perm Theater. The first two operas - “Figaro's Wedding” and “All Women do this” - have already been recorded . In October 2014, it is planned to record the opera Don Juan.
