"According to investigators, during the investigation of the criminal case on the commission of a particularly serious crime, at the direction of Belotserkovsky, illegal listening to telephone conversations of investigators of the IC of Russia was organized, in the production of which this criminal case was located. The same illegal listening to telephone conversations was organized in relation to the UFSB officers in the Sakhalin Region and the service of the Russian MVD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," the report said.
A criminal case has been opened under part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code (abuse of authority). Earlier, three subordinates of Belotserkovsky have already been charged in the framework of this case. A preventive measure in the form of house arrest was also chosen against them.
Belotserkovsky was detained on Tuesday and delivered to Khabarovsk as part of an investigation of a criminal case.
