Technologies” dedicated to interdisciplinary cooperation of artists, scientists and technical specialists.
The program is opened in 2014 by a cycle of master classes and lectures with the participation of international and Russian experts, artists, researchers, including authoritative representatives of the world Science Art, specialists recognized by the international scientific community and have many awards and awards, and young talents.
At the invitation of the Polytechnic Museum, master classes in Moscow will hold: Russian network artist, media activist and one of the creators of The Critical Engineering project in Berlin, Danya Vasiliev; winner of the ARS Electronica contest Sonya Chillary; Professor of Stanford University and the star of the World Electronic Musical Scene Robert Henke ( Monolake ); Specialist in virtual realities Professor Olborg University in Denmark Stefania Serafin; Application developer and adept of advanced reality technology in the art of Julian Oliver; Architect, multimedia artist, graduate Goldsmiths College in London Artemis Papageorgiu and others. Some of the authors will present their projects in Russia for the first time.
Experts of the program “Polytech.Science.art: Science. Art. Technologies” will help to form a comprehensive idea of the synthesis of science, art and technology as a creative method, as a space for innovation, will present art projects that demonstrate the use of a scientific approach and innovative techniques. The results of the joint work of experts and Russian participants will have not only artistic, but also theoretical significance, since each such project is a study of the interaction of science, art and technology.
Each master class lasts from 3 to 5 days and consists of a lecture and practical part. The participants in the master class can become from 8 to 15 people who have undergone preliminary expert selection. Participation in master classes is free. The completion of each event will be the presentation open to visit, where the results of the work participants will be presented. Some lectures within the program will be held open.
The first master class of the program “Polytech.Science.art: Science. Art. Technologies” -Othernet Dani Vasiliev-will be held on March 19–21 in the center of design and architecture Artplay .
