March 12, Wednesday

The international organization Amnesty International is concerned about the disappearance of people and detentions in Crimea. According to human rights activists, at least five people were detained on a checkpoint in Armenian on the border between Crimea and the Kherson region of Ukraine. The detention was carried out by armed people in masks without any insignia. Two days later, the detainees were released, but human rights activists fear that they are still in danger.

March 13, Thursday

The European Parliament adopted a special resolution in which he called on Russia to revise the sentences to the "prisoners of Bolotnaya." Parliamentarians demand that in the process of appeal, the Moscow City Court release the convicts of the “swamps”, as well as Mikhail Kosenko, aimed at forced psychiatric treatment. Euroduts also pay attention to the persecution of independent media in Russia.

Nadezhda Toloconnikova and Maria Alyokhina held a press conference in Saransk, at which they announced the opening of the Zone Law in Mordovia. The head of the organization was the retired Colonel FSIN Vladimir Rubashny. According to the participants in the punk group, the organization intends to cooperate with people who are freed from places of imprisonment, as well as with relatives of prisoners serving a sentence.

March 14, Friday

The initiative group consisting of members of the Russian Pen-Center, human rights activists, filmmakers, and ecologists announced the intelligentsia congress-“against war, against the self-isolation of Russia, against the restoration of totalitarianism”. The first session of the Congress will be held on March 19 in the building of the library of foreign literature.

The Basmanny Court of Moscow limited Alexei Navalny for familiarization in the Yves Rocher case until March 28. An investigation appealed to the court with such a petition. Investigators believe that the defense and the accused intentionally delayed familiarization with the case file.
