This also turned out to be an absolutely unfounded statement. I flew to Kyiv Airport in the evening and was met by the usual order, a normally working, albeit a small airport.

The hotel where I settled down and literally a hundred pitch of the Maidan was also a little uninterrupted, but normally working and completely unheard of (in addition to the usual hotel protection of two people). Having settled down, I immediately went to the Maidan, accompanied by Mr. Lutsenko, a Ukrainian political prisoner. We walked among the tents until one in the morning. After some time, correspondents of various publications joined us, who also did not feel any danger, being in this camp, where many thousands of people have been living for more than three months. Kitchens, dormitories, toilets and even a library with books in Russian and Ukrainian. Purely, not a single drunk, garbage in plastic bags. Dobrastal, although very tired people.

Now, almost a month after the events, there are not so many of more than one hundred wounded employees of this Ukrainian special forces in the hospitals of Kyiv. I went to the hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and spoke with the four former employees of Berkut.

They lie in normal wards, they have mobile phones. They communicate freely with relatives and colleagues. They did not hear about any cases of any cases of the wounded. Most of the Berkutians left for their regions. They call those in Kyiv hospitals worried. But there are no special problems.
