Shevchuk will celebrate the anniversary of the Taganka

April 23, on the day of the 50th anniversary of the Taganka Theater, the premiere of the play "Tagansky Front" will be held. Three generations of the theater actors will take part in it, the author of the music for the play will also enter the stage - the leader of the DDT group Yuri Shevchuk.

Saxophonist Sergey Letov will also take part in the play. The author of the text and the director of the performance is a poet, actor Taganka with almost 20 years of experience Vlad Malenko.

The action will begin right on the street. Young poets of the Men's Voice association on the platform from the boards will meet the audience at the metro and accompany them to the theater. The lobby will also become a stage platform.

The main action will unfold on the stage. Among the actors is Ivan Bortnik, Benjamin Smekhov, Vitaly Shapovalov, Margarita Radzig, Ivan Ryzhikov, Anastasia Kolpikova, Igor Pivovich, as well as representatives of the young generation of Taganka actors.

“This performance is the view of the pilots on their plane during movement. Not a retrospociation, rather a futuristic fantasy. New time, love, speed, understanding of the future. The Tagan Front is a new voice of young and old Taganka actors, the new music of Yuri Shevchuk and the verses of Vlad Malenko, ”the announcement on the theater website says.

Cultures of Mayakovsky and Blok, Brodsky and Meyerhold, Brecht and Chekhov, which always distinguished the theater on Taganka. I really wanted to create a performance that would become the personification of the spirit of our theater. Initially, the Taganka was the theater of young. Theater of poems and songs, the theater of a firm and clear voice. Today, a new generation of actors and poets is growing up, and the new soldiers of the Tagan front are already eager for battle. This is both updating and following tradition. And I hope that our unusual format will appeal to the sophisticated Moscow public. ”
