On the Change.org website, signatures are collected under nine appeals on this topic. The Ministry of Education and Science did not include more than 130 books in the list. "Now, on the basis of the concept, it is necessary to begin the preparation of new history textbooks for all classes. It is obvious that time will pass before their appearance in schools, and we need to provide for the transition period," Putin said.

“The creation of a new textbook will take at least 1.5-2 years, but during this period the concept will be applied in schools,” the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Livanov assured the president. According to him, in the current and next academic years, advanced training will be organized for all history teachers, this is more than 60 thousand people.
