A Mashable columnist talks about his experience using vertical screen orientation

The Mashable columnist, looking at his colleagues at the publication, decided to rotate his work monitor 90 degrees and shared his impressions with his readers. The idea is not new, but in conditions when most Internet projects, including the media, introduce infinite scrolling into their structure, it becomes the most relevant.

The author of the note, Jason Abbruzzese, admits that he has been using the screen in a vertical position for only a few days, but is already sure that he will not turn it back.

And the advantages of such a monitor, according to the author, appear not only while reading the news. Jason likes that when writing texts in the new mode, it is easier for him to look at what he has written and it is easier to feel the volume. In the same way, he likes that many colleagues at work come up to him, that discussing the advantages and disadvantages of this monitor arrangement is socialization.
