According to the investigation, from July to August 2012, the kibkalo loaded the Windows 8 RT code and the Microsoft Activation Server SDK tool package to the Skydrive computer, which the corporation uses for the activation system, CNEWS reports.

The kibkalo worked in Microsoft for seven years: in Russian and Lebanese corporation offices. According to Reuters, in 2012, his leadership decided that he could not cope with his duties, and put forward a condition according to which the kibkalo would be dismissed if the situation did not change.

The real name of the blogger, with whom the kibkalo collaborated, is unknown. On the Internet, he deliberately distributed false information about himself, indicating that he lives in Quebec (Canada). In addition, the blogger confirmed to investigators that he posted information on Twitter and on his Web sites, and also sold keys to activate Windows Server on the Ebay platform. In the postal account of the blogger, an email was found from the kibkalo.

According to CNews, Alexei Kibkalo is the son of the IT entrepreneur Alexei Kibkalo from the SARs of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The father of the accused, bearing the same name, previously held the post of head of the now closed center of Intel development in Sarov, and now works as a technical director at the local development center of AFK System.

According to the Kibkalo account in LinkedIn , he recently worked as a grocery director in the American company 5nine Software, who has offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
