
Today, March 21, on World Poetry Day, in the St. Petersburg bookstore “The Order of Words”, the winner of the poetic prize “Difference” of 2014 was announced - it was the poet Oleg Yuryev.

Oleg Yuryev was awarded for the book “About the Motherland: Poems, Hora and the Bengs 2010-2013”. In addition, the award -list this season included books by Shamshad Abdullaev, Mikhail Eremin, Alexei Kolchev and Evgenia Suslova.
The jury of the Difference Awards includes its founders Igor Gulin, Kirill Korchagin, Denis Larionov and Leo Oborin, as well as the invited member of the jury Stanislav Snnytko.
The "Difference" prize is founded in 2013. In the center of her attention is poetry, which becomes a study.
From the premium manifesto: “This is not about research in a purely scientific sense, but about a special artistic optics in which the text itself is a means of understanding for the poet and its reader. <...> The variety of approaches entails a variety of conclusions and solutions. The difference between them, opposing a template uniform, is a necessary condition for the existence of poetry, which the bonus wants to pay attention to. "
