During 2013, they listened to 18 thousand performers more than 2.5 billion times, Yandex reports. At the same time, almost 13% of all the auditions were on twenty of the most popular artists.

The tastes of Yandex.Music users from different regions are noticeably different. All-Russian stars can be considered five domestic performers who are included in the TOP-20 in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation. This is Grigory Leps, Stas Mikhailov, Nyusha, Natalie and Elena Vaenga.

However, far from everywhere these performers occupy the first lines of the rating. For example, in 12 regions, the TOP-5 group included the King and the Jester group (occupying the 11th place in Russia as a whole). In the Novgorod and Vologda regions, she even found herself in second place (after Stas Mikhailov). In six regions, rapper Basta fell into the five most popular artists. “Gas Sector” is popular in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Voronezh and Tula regions, “Hands up!” - In Chuvashia, Kostroma and Nizhny Novgorod regions, and Mikhail Krug - in his native Tver region.

Of the foreign musicians, the highest, fourth place was taken by the German New Age project Enigma .
