Ukraine decided not to invent a bicycle: foreign mercenaries will take care of the pro -Russian population

The new leadership of Ukraine believes that the Office of the National Security Service (SBU) cannot cope with pro -Russian moods in the eastern regions of the country. It was decided to send representatives of a private foreign company to the aid of the local law enforcement officers, ITAR-TASS reports citing a source in the department.

According to him, the work of local law enforcement officers is unhappy, in particular, the acting President of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov. “Therefore, it was decided to attract foreign mercenaries who will perform the functions of a political investigation and state security protection,” the SBU representative said.

This, according to him, is about a private military company (PMC) Greystone Limited. The initiative to attract mercenaries belongs to the oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky and Sergey Tarut, appointed by the governors of the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, the source said.

“Not so long ago, at the meeting, Turchinov discussed the action plan to stop the protest movement in the eastern regions. Kolomoisky remarked on this subject:“ Why invent a bicycle, if there are real people who understand how much and how to pay? ”The agency’s interlocutor said.

Greystone Limited is registered on Barbados. Her offices are located around the world, including in Virginia (USA) and in Abu Dhabi (UAE), according to the official website of the company. Greystone Limited employees have ground and aviation.

But the most interesting thing is that Greystone is the "daughter" of the infamous American company XE Services, previously called Blackwater, and now called Academi.

Blackwater became known during the war in Iraq in connection with the murders of its fighters of the civilian population. In 2008, the guards were charged withthe execution of 17 civilians in 2007 in Baghdad. In 2009, the case was closed, but in 2011 the court of appeal decided to resume the investigation. Four of the six previously accused employees of Blackwater was charged.

However, Blackwater is not only known not only in connection with the incident in Baghdad. For example, one of the former employees, after dismissal, said that his colleagues “bought” 12-13-year-old Iraqi girls for carnal pleasures, and the authorities knew about it, but did not undertake any world.

In 2012, rollers were published on the Internet, on which Blackwater allegedly fired at passers -by on Baghdad’s streets on an armored car, picked cars and knock down a woman on the side of the road.

In 2009, Blackwater left the company's general director Eric Prince. The company, pursued by scandals, in 2009 changed the name to XE Services, and in 2011 it became called Academi. However, in spite of everything, in 2010 she received a new CIA contract - to protect objects in Afghanistan. Currently, Academi is the largest private military company.

It should be noted that information about the presence of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine came back in early March. In particular, the Interfax agency with reference to military-diplomatic sources reported that foreign mercenaries were transferred to Kiev. Then it was about "employees of private military companies with rich experience in combat operations." Presumably mercenaries were at least 300. They were equipped with their special equipment, equipment and, possibly, weapons. According to informed sources of news agencies, "most of them arrived from the USA" and previously "were under private contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries."
