Olga Bogomolets will run for president

The Ukrainian doctor and public figure Olga Bogomolets nominates his candidacy for the presidency. As reported on her official website , on Thursday morning, the mantis will submit documents to the Central Election Commission. According to the law, within five days, the CEC must decide on the registration of the candidate.

Early presidential elections are scheduled for May 25, the deadline for submitting documents to the CEC expires on April 4. So far, the only registered candidate is the former deputy prospector Renat Kuzmin. Five more candidates passed the documents - this is the former governor of the Kharkov region Mikhail Dobkin, former deputy head of the regions Sergey Tigipko, communist Petr Simonenko, leader of the Right Sector Dmitry Yarosh, entrepreneur Vadim Rabinovich. According to sociological surveys, the businessman and deputy Petro Poroshenko are leading among potential presidential candidates - 25 percent of the respondents are ready to vote for him. In second place is the leader of the Broken Party Vitaly Klitschko (8.9%), in the third - ex -Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko (8.2%).

Olga Bogomolets took an active part in the organization of the Major Service of Euromaidan . After the victory of the revolution, it was expected that she would lead the Ministry of Health. On February 26, during the People’s Veche on the Maidan, Bogomolets offered the position of Deputy Prime Minister on humanitarian issues. She agreed to take this position, but the next day she abandoned the ministerial portfolio.

Olga Bogomolets was born in 1966 in Kyiv in a family of doctors, graduated from a medical institute in Kyiv, then studied dermatology in the United States.
