Even the primitive man showed a desire to capture something from his life and life, thereby eating, perhaps, hope for the extension of this moment, giving him eternal life. The first drawings known to us depict hunting scenes. What took most of the time and gave life - the extraction of food. The main thing in the then human life was the main theme of casual drawings. Almost nothing has changed in the modern world. A person still longs to leave behind a trace of his life. And offspring wants to leave something about their ancestors, relatives, friends in memory. To preserve the images of those people who leave, because the whole world with which he lived is leaving for a person. And there are still “rock drawings”: they are now applied to tombstones, on monuments on the graves of departed people. The application of engraving, displaying the life of the deceased, to the tombstones - for Ukraine a very common ritual, as well as for other countries of the former USSR. This type of “art” is popular among the inhabitants, representatives of the middle class, and engraving in the ritual services bureau do not sit idle.
