Graduates of schools from Crimea will go to Moscow State University (Moscow State University) on general conditions, passing the exam, Viktor Sadovnichy, the Rector of the University, said "Russian News Service" at the opening day.
The head of the university noted that there is a branch of Moscow State University on the territory of the peninsula, where work is underway to prepare applicants for the exam. Thus, everyone will have time to prepare for admission.
Earlier, the M24 website reported that the influx of applicants from Crimea is expected at Moscow State University. And Sadovnichi said that at Moscow State University they can solve the issue with additional places.
According to RSN, Sadovnichi specified that the increase in budget places at the faculties is expected in the next three years, but such measures are not planned for the period of receipt of this year.
It was previously planned that schoolchildren from the peninsula will be able to choose whether they are testing a state format or a specially organized exam for them, replacing the exam.
On March 16, a referendum on the status of an autonomous republic was held in Crimea and Sevastopol, at which 96% of residents spoke out for joining the peninsula to Russia. In Ukraine, the certification system of applicants is significantly different from the Russian, which is due to difficulties for high school students of Crimea.
