The Moscow City Hall received a notification of the action on April 13 in defense of media freedom.
It is reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to a member of the Committee of Protest Actions of Alexander Ryklin.
“The notice was filed about the procession of 50 thousand people from the Turgenevskaya metro station in the boulevards to Pushkinskaya Square, where the rally is planned. The action is called the "March of Pravda", ”he said.
The opposition noted that among the applicants of the action, writer Dmitry Bykov and political analyst Georgy Satarov.
As Ryklin previously reported, the march will be held under the slogans “For honest independent media!”, “For the right to information!” and "for an open society, against xenophobia."
