Ukraine does not intend to denounce any of the agreements concluded with Russia regarding the stay of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. According to UNIAN, the Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko stated this. "In international practice, such actions (one -way denunciation of the agreements that Russia went to. - Ed.) Are not recognized as international courts," the minister explained the meaning of this position.

Meanwhile, Petrenko continued, for Ukraine, these agreements are evidence that allows confirming its case in courts, including when considering Russia's compensation for losses caused.

The minister added that if Moscow will unilaterally increase the price of gas for Kyiv, Ukraine will adjust these prices, paying for gas taking into account discounts, which are provided for by agreements on the Black Sea Fleet.

On March 28, Vladimir Putin introduced a bill on the denunciation of agreements on the Black Sea Fleet to the State Duma. Putin announced his intention to terminate these agreements at an operational meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.

On the same day, Ukraine accused Russia of neglecting the norms of international law . In a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Kyiv never violated the terms of the contracts. "The Russian Federation is not entitled to refer to the impossibility of fulfilling or a fundamental change in circumstances as the basis for termination of the contract, if such actions are the result of a violation by this participant or obligation under the contract or other international obligation," the document noted.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the State Duma unanimously approved the denunciation of agreements on the Black Sea Fleet. On Tuesday, the bill supported the Federation Council. Now the document is aimed at signing Putin.
