Sofya Trotsenko talked about the plans of the "Vincent"

On the press line, which was today, April 3, in the Center for Contemporary Art “Vincuvod”, its founder Sofya Trotsenko spoke about the development plans of the oldest Moscow art cluster.

Sofya Trotsenko, who is the president of the Winzavod Modern Support Fund, personally refuted the information that the Winzavod CSI would change the owner. “I am the owner of the Winzavod,” Trotsenko quoted The Art Newspaper Russia .

She also announced changes in the structure of the organization: “We gave the entire backing office of the management company, since it is difficult for me to do everything.” Now the Winzavod, in addition to nine galleries, houses 16 stores and show rooms, two restaurants, artists studios, exhibition spaces where projects of the center itself are held.

To the existing programs of the Winzavod - the All -Russian photo exhibition “The Best of Russia” , the program for supporting young art “Start”, “Territory of Design” and others - this year will be added new ones.

This is the public art program, which is conducted by Nail Allahverdieva , who previously engaged in this at the Permm Museum, the summer theater, the philosophical club and the cycle of regular exhibitions of Russian and foreign artists (this is done by Anastasia Shavlokhova) under the general name “Focus for Reality”. The first exhibition from the cycle will open on June 18.

Subsequently, Vincuration plans to establish the position of chief curator or art director, as well as expert council. Now the creation of the Board of Trustees has been announced. He will be headed by the head of the Absolut group , Alexander Svetakov , who owns the management company invited by the Winzavod.

Sofya Trotsenko explained this choice as follows: “I know Alexander Svetakova for a long time, he has his own charity fund, and, importantly, he is a collector and not a person alien to art,” and the question of the possible professional interest of the new head of the Board of Trustees in the “Vinzavod” commented as follows: “The development attractiveness of the Vincules is not so big, since there are six of the 20 thousand square meters of our squares. Thousands are on the underground storage, which is quite difficult to use. ”

To the question of what the organization awaits in the future, its leader replied: “In the next two years,“ Winzavod ”will remain the center of contemporary art and culture, since we are interested in different directions that allow us to objectively represent the current reality-this is a fine art, a photograph, and philosophy, and public art.”
