When I worked on my first long-term photo project dedicated to Resling, I often had to be in one of the capital's palaces of culture, where the training base and a resling club were located.

I immediately drew attention to the grotesque heterogeneity of this space, where, against the background of the surviving Soviet frescoes and mosaic, various stormy activities flowed in a strange way. In the basement, huge guys in the codes and masks are caps to each other in the ring, in the next room, children sculpt the layouts of Orthodox churches from plastic bottles, immediately in the dance hall, adolescents read rap, girls dance oriental dances, and so on.

Then I decided to ride a few recreation centers to capture the modern life of this once key cultural element of the country.

After a couple of successful trips to the Moscow region, I realized that I should not be limited only to nearby territories, and expanded the geography of the project. In total, I managed to visit about 30 houses and cultural palaces in Central Russia.
