The long -term state program for the development of Russian shipbuilding will be cut by 40%

The costs of the state program "Development of shipbuilding for 2013-2030" can be reduced by 40%, said the deputy minister of industry and trade of Russia Alexei Rakhmanov. He spoke about the possible sequestration on Thursday to discuss the prospects for the development of the shipbuilding industry in the State Duma, ITAR-TASS reports.

“We have a state program for the development of shipbuilding. Unfortunately, today quite serious adjustments to this program are undergoing, we hope that we will find mutually acceptable solutions with colleagues from the Ministry of Finance, but based on the program that we made last year, the reduction is up to 40%,” said Rakhmanov.

The deputy minister recalled that over the past 20 years, the Russian shipbuilding "did not really invest." After the deadlines for the delivery of some military and civilian ships are shifted, according to Rakhmanov, the “feverish mobilization” of resources and interagency coordination in the framework of the projects that the United Shipbuilding Corporation begins.

“But we find a solution to all these problems. And I must declare that with a high degree of probability, state defense systems will be fulfilled in full and at the deadlines that are stated,” Rakhmanov emphasized.

Speaking of long-term planning, the deputy minister noted that "while the dialogue was able to loll with the Navy very effectively." "Larings on the military program of shipbuilding until 2050 were held, and the approaches to long -term planning will allow you to build an industrial part, the scientific and technical part and design bureaus," added Rakhmanov.

From the passport of the program published on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, it follows that the total volume of budget allocations for the development of civil marines and shipbuilding industries should amount to about 338 billion rubles for 17 years.

The program provides for an increase in the production of civilian courts compared to 2011 by 3.2 times and increased labor productivity by 4.5 times. It is also planned to strengthen and develop the scientific and production potential of the industry.
