Alexander Lyubimov left the post of general director of the RBC-TV channel, his position will be occupied by the general producer of the channel Gleb Shagun.
“In fact, this has already happened-I left the general director, but it is necessary for some time, several days or weeks to be decorated on paper,” Lyubimov told Interfax today, April 4.
He explained that this decision has been made for a long time. “After the Paralympics, I slowly began to transfer all things to my colleague, with whom I worked for many years, Gleb Shagunov,” said Lyubimov.
According to him, at the moment he did everything for the channel: the audience has grown, RBC-TV has increased. “He makes profit to shareholders,” Lyubimov said. He noted that he was not going to leave the RBC holding and will engage in his strategy, work in the Council of Directors and build relations with state bodies.
Journalist and TV presenter Alexander Lyubimov was appointed General Director of the RBC-TV channel in the fall of 2011. Until August 2011, Lyubimov served as deputy head of the VGTRK, which he left to support the party “right -handed” and Mikhail Prokhorov, the owner of the RBC holding in the State Duma.
