The organizers of the "march of Pravda" reached an agreement with the Moscow authorities, according to Twitter, a member of the Committee of Protest Actions, Peter Tsarkov. The action will be held in the form of a rally on Sakharov Avenue on April 13. The approval document will be ready for Monday.
The organizers decided not to insist on holding the procession, said Alexander Ryklin, a member of the solidarity political council. However, the rally will take place in an unusual format. Laureates of the Terrious Tipun contest will be announced in several nominations, for example, "God's dew", "on the blue eye", "Lying like breathing", "We are sick of all." A quote competition will also be held. They will be hung with the entire space of the rally.
On Thursday , the Moscow City Hall refused to coordinate the march of Pravda , the deputy head of the capital’s security department Vasily Oleinik said. Officials did not arrange a route of the procession declared by the organizers. The Committee of protest actions asked for permission to march along the Boulevard Ring from Turgenevskaya to Pushkinskaya Square and for the subsequent rally on Pushkinskaya. The city hall proposed an alternative route: to gather at the house 4 along Sakharov Avenue and go along this avenue to house 36, where to hold a rally. Oleinik also added that the mayor's office is ready to coordinate the declared number of participants - 50 thousand people.
A notification of the "Marsh of Pravda" was submitted to the city hall on Monday . Among the applicants are writer Dmitry Bykov and political analyst Georgy Satarov.
The theme of the event is the protection of the freedom of the media. The slogans of the march - "For honest independent media", "for the right to information" and "for an open society, against xenophobia."
