Gathering Hitler

Andranik Migranan advised the readers of the Izvestia from New York to distinguish between two Hitlers and understand that the Fuhrer who was engaged in the "collecting lands without a single drop of blood" could remain in history as a "politician of the highest class" if he had not unleashed the Second World War. This statement caused a fierce polemic between the liberal public, amazed that now even this is possible, and the public “patriotic”, inspired by the fact that in the new time it is possible to glorify the good that she always noticed in national socialism, but only was afraid to say.

Those who considered Migranan to the city crazy, in their desire to justify the first person and Russian policy that deviated too far from the official ideology, simply forgot that this is not the Migranes followed by the authorities, but the authorities were behind the migrant. The political scientist in the liberal early 90s wrote about the need for a “strong hand” and authoritarian rule - and the entire liberal public laughed at him, because such thoughts in the era of the collapse of communism seemed to be game and marginalism. But all of us were the marginals, but the Migranes became in demand and was sent to the western direction even when even the talent of Dmitry Kiselev was not fully revealed.

I asked Vitaly Tretyakov, then a very young journalist, then the liberal editor of the democratic “independent newspaper”, why he prints Migranan’s calls for dictatorship in our bands, and received a simple answer: Migranans are the future of Russia. I am still a very young journalist-for the first time in his career-was expelled by Migranian from his press conference as a “disguised Ukrainian”, who has no place among the real Russian patriots gathered in one of the halls of the State Duma. Two decades later, there is everything that Migranans spoke about and wrote about then-both the “strong hand” and the robbers-Ukrainians. And he goes on.

It is not because it is insightful, but because it is informed much better than many of us. And he knows exactly what the people with whom he connected his career and well -being think about before perestroika. These people wanted a "strong hand" in the 90s and strive for "collecting land" in our time. Adolf Hitler was never a monster for them - just an unexpected adversary who failed to appreciate all the advantages of the union concluded with him by another, a much more successful "land collector". The point is not even that Migranan did not say any sedition - he did not report any news from the point of view of those on whom his present and future depends.

The collection of lands, clean streets, rigid power, a strong leader ... "At one time, Germany was raised from the ruins thanks to very strict power. And not everything was only bad connected in Germany and with the famous Adolf Hitler ... Germany rose thanks to strong power, due to the fact that the whole nation managed to consolidate and unite around the leader ..."

This is no longer Migranes. This is Lukashenko, and a long time ago. And these statements of anyone in Russia - by the way, Yeltsin, not Putin - were not defined except the same notorious liberal public. Moreover - it was in those years that Lukashenko’s popularity in Russia was so great that many seriously spoke of him if not as an heir, then as an alternative to the aging president with democracy in the heart.

Lukashenko spoke of the same "two Hitler", which Migranans speak of. You just need to understand that the “first Hitler” has always been and remains the idol of those who rules Russia today - simply because by 1939 he did everything that they would like to do, and did not yet start moving towards inevitable collapse. And they do not need to say that the “first Hitler” always awakens the second - they will not believe you anyway, and Migranans will not tell them, although he knows. He is also well fed in New York.
