Gosnarkokontrol will check "Cazantip"

If necessary, the Russian drug police will hold raids at the Crimean Cazantip Music festival.

This is about this, April 7, a representative of the press service of the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Drug Control (FKSN) told RIA Novosti .

Kazantip-one of the largest festivals of electronic music in the territory of the former USSR-has been held in Crimea since the mid-1990s. First, the festival was held in the north-eastern part of the Crimea, on Cape Kazantip. In the early 2000s, Kazantip moved to the west of Crimea, to Popovka.

Despite the official ban on drugs at the festival, the security forces regularly identify the illegal turnover of narcotic drugs among the guests of the Cazantip.

“Since Crimea is now the territory of the Russian Federation, the FSKN will suppress unlawful activities within the framework of the law. We will fight drug trafficking in the same way as throughout Russia. - said the representative in the FSKN. “If there is a need, then we will conduct raids how we do it in other Russian clubs and places to entertain youth.”

This year, the Cazantip festival will be held from July 31 to August 14.
