On Monday, the Board of Gazprom on April 7 recommended increasing the amount of dividends for 2013 to 7.2 rubles per share, reports Interfax - Agency of Gas Information. In 2012, shareholders received 5.99 rubles per share. Thus, over the year, shareholders' income increased by 20%.

Without the application of amendments when calculating the dividend base, they would have to amount to 6.63 rubles per share.
In mid -March, the chairman of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, said that the growing debt of Ukraine for gas could affect dividends, but did not say that this factor will affect the increase in payments.
