In which countries does life lengthen the fastest?

The average life expectancy in Russia over the past 20 years - from 1994 to 2013 - has grown by 9.36%. According to this indicator, we are in the 12th place in the world among 81 countries analyzed by the ITAR-TASS research center with the assistance of experts of the Center for Social Economy.

What is the value of the rating of the growth of life expectancy, and not the very expectancy of life ? It shows where living conditions improve the fastest. This may partly be caused by external factors. For example, 1994 came on the peak of the economic crisis in Russia, and then the followed restoration of the economy and the rise in price of oil naturally improved the health of citizens. However, part of the growth is explained by the measures of the government that can be studied and applied in their own country. Analysts highlight:

Estonia, Latvia, Singapore and Brazil, who rely on the propaganda of a healthy lifestyle and family doctors; India, where they simply banned the sale of neoidized salt; Turkey, where tough measures reduced cigarettes from 107 million to 93 million pieces and a share of smokers - from 31% to 27%.

However, in two countries of life, it decreased - in Moldova and Macedonia.
