The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law "On the restoration of trust in the judicial system of Ukraine", which provides for the lustration of the judicial corps. This was reported by UNIAN. The document was supported by 234 deputies of 247 registered in the session hall.

According to the law, the activities of all judges working in the courts of general jurisdiction will be checked for compliance with the oath given when taking office. Judges convicted of her violation, depending on the seriousness of the offense committed will be brought to disciplinary responsibility or dismissed.

The audit will be carried out by a temporary special commission and will take one year. Citizens or legal entities within six months from the date of education of the commission will be able to submit an application to this body to verify certain specific judges.

In particular, judges who, from the moment of the beginning of the Euromaidan, were the same from the beginning of the Euromaidan, were subject to verification, in particular, or as part of the colleges, they made decisions to restrict the right of citizens to freedom of assembly. The commission also has to evaluate the activities of judges involved in the persecution of citizens for political reasons. In addition, inspections were conducted in relation to judges who made decisions in cases related to the 2012 elections to the Verkhovna Rada. Finally, the commission will have to investigate the activities of judges, made decisions violating the European Convention.

On Monday, activists of Euromaidan, Avtomaidan and the "Right Sector" tore off the All -Ukrainian Congress of Judges in Kiev . In total, about 300 people gathered near the building. Hanging the scarecrow of the judges, they began to chant "lustration!" And "Down with corrupt judges!".

The Maidanovites blocked all the entrances to the Supreme Court. Self -defense activists of the Maidan and the "Right Sector", bursting into the building, occupied it. In addition, they began to search for delegates who had already arrived at the congress and take them to the street.

From the building of the judges, they brought through the "corridor of shame" to the cries of "Ganba!" ("Disgrace"!). They spit, called them, and also beat them on the head and gave clicks.
