"Total dictation" is approaching

On April 12, in 350 cities of the world there will be an action to check the literacy "Total Dictation". Actors, writers, musicians and other figures of Russian culture and art are dictated by the text of the writer Alexei Ivanov.

Konstantin Khabensky, who played the main role in the film based on the author of the dictation “Geographer Globus drank”, dictates the text of Alexei Ivanov at the site of the Total Dictation in the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences. At other Moscow venues, the comedian and showman Andrei Bocharov (MPSU) and Russian linguist Maxim Krongauz (HSE) will dictate.

In St. Petersburg, the writer and film scores Andrei Konstantinov and the vice-president of the Academy of Journalism of St. Petersburg Marina Shishkin will take part in the action. In London, the participants of the dictation will read the text by the host of the radio BBC Seva Novgorodtsev.

At Novosibirsk University of Economics and Management, the text of Alexei Ivanov is dictated by Andrei Grizz-LEE , at the Novosibirsk Medical University-opera singer Yuri Komov. In Saratov, on one of the sites to dictate the text will be Frick Bard Vasily Urievsky, and in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-writer Irina Levitz.

In Tallinn, 50 representatives of different nationalities (Lezgins, Belarusians, Koreans, Moldovans and others) will write on the site of the House of National Minorities Dictation. In Moscow, a platform in the 50 Plus club will be opened for pensioners, and in Irkutsk and Chelyabinsk several sites will open, adapted for people with visual impairment and violation of the musculoskeletal system.

Cosmonaut Pilot Oleg Artemyev writes a text at the International Space Station, and employees of the Russian Antarctic expedition at the scientific stations Mirny, Vostok, Bellingshausen and Progress.
